Mehryar Ray Taban MD - Oculoplastic Surgeon

I've had hereditary under eye bags that have bothered me for over 20 years. I've wanted to get them fixed for a long time, but I kept putting it off because doing anything to my face made me nervous. I finally decided if I was going to do it, I wanted to go to the best doctor I could find. I chose Dr Taban and I could not be happier with my results! The procedure and recovery were very smooth, and Dr Taban and his staff answered every question I had along the way. With me being an out-of-state patient, it was very important to me that they would be available for any questions I had, especially post-surgery. This has truly given me something I've wanted for over 20 years. It's taken away my biggest insecurity. I was hoping for natural but noticeable results and that's exactly what I got. Dr Taban is truly gifted, and I was in the best of hands from start to finish. I'm so glad I chose him as my doctor for this procedure!

I am so grateful that I found Dr. Taban! After years of research and multiple consultations with other doctors I finally found Dr. Taban to be the perfect fit. I had hereditary hooded upper eyelids and was terrified to not look like myself. I really trusted his work based on his before and after photos and felt at ease with his professional demeanor. He listens to your needs and provides compassionate care which is rare to find in many doctors these days. He made me feel very comfortable, explained the whole process and was extremely gentle and precise. Great results within minutes and no down time. Dr. Taban is a life saver! He changed my life and my confidence. I work in very high level special events/media and for years I would hide behind sunglasses due to large eye bags and eye aging. I tried so many procedures prior to seeing Dr. Taban which only left me with worse results. I’m currently working on a rebrand of my design company and needed a new photo shoot. I kept putting it off because I didn’t like the way I looked in photos. Additionally, I’m in the process of writing a book about overcoming trauma and a major chapter of my book goes into detail about the importance of self love and confidence. I’m still healing from the upper eyelid surgery but as each day passes I’m becoming the younger version of me. I’m happier, more radiant and I have reclaimed my power. I was originally referred to Dr. Taban by my medical spa esthetician and she was a former patient. Overall, the entire process from the consultation to scheduling and pre/post surgery has been completely flawless. Did a lower bleph with Dr. Taban and couldn't ask for a better experience. It was quick, nearly painless and recovery was smooth. The hardest part was having to sleep on my back. Beyond thankful for my experience with Dr. Taban and already have referred 3 people. My eyes look INCREDIBLE, my bags are completely gone and I could not be happier with my results.

Amazing experience with Dr Taban and his staff, after a long expansive search for the best Oculoplast that I could find. When it comes to your eyes, for obvious reasons, you do not want to take ANY short cuts. That is why I chose Dr Taban. Skilled beyond belief, and the only person I would allow to work on my eyes. I had lower blepharoplasty done by Dr Taban, and it has been the best decision I have ever made for myself. The healing process took a little longer than I expected for me, but I think I just heal a little slow. I look so happy when I smile now, instead of tired/unhappy.
